The Golden Ratio
By definition, the first two numbers in the Fibonacci sequence are 0 and 1, and each subsequent number is the sum of the previous two. The Fibonacci sequence is named after Leonardo Fibonacci, but it has many other names, some scientific, some mystical and religious. This numerical sequence appears in Indian mathematics, in connection with Sanskrit prosody.
This occurs naturally in nature in plants, animals, humans and even in space. However, the intentional use of this ratio in artifacts, structures and other objects implies a greater understanding of math and science – an understanding that humans shouldn’t have had until recently.

Looking for these subtle, but intentional, patterns in artifacts, is one of the many fingerprints that may point the way to ancient advanced civilizations, scientific understanding and technology.
